PowerUp: Uniting AI & Energy Innovation

Are you an innovative digital startup or scale-up developing AI and/or data science solutions contributing to the energy transition? This is the place to be. This event is part of the Arnhem Electricity Week from May 27th to 31st. This week focuses on the latest developments in the energy transition.

Why you should be there
In a time where the demand for sustainable energy is growing louder, and the world of digitization, data science, and AI is accelerating, we believe in the power of synergy. Therefore, we invite you to participate in an inspiring networking event that brings together these two worlds. We are building an ecosystem that focuses on learning from and with each other and developing concrete scalable applications.

In a field that is still evolving, with challenges such as regulations, access to data, and implementation capacity, we provide a platform to unite forces. Here, developers can come together, new projects can emerge, knowledge can be shared, and matchmaking can take place where possible. Our goal is not only to effectively showcase opportunities but also to accelerate implementation.

Cost
There are no costs associated with attending this event. If you register and do not attend, we will charge a €50 fee.

About the location
Business Park Arnhems Buiten is increasingly shaping up as a development, demonstration, and test environment for the digital layer on local energy systems. This means, among other things, that devices can communicate with each other, open-source algorithms can make integral considerations, and startups can develop apps/services. At Arnhems Buiten, we are developing the local energy network of the future. This local energy network can communicate with the existing high, medium, low-voltage network, can deal with nodes (devices, machines, etc.) that join and exit, is based on failures rather than fair-weather scenarios, can consider heat in addition to electricity, and has one or more (data) platforms where services can be developed. We have the opportunity, as a consortium, to build a demonstration project together.
