Captains of Energy Dinner
An exclusive dinner where Europe’s energy leaders come together to turn urgency into direction.
During Arnhem Electricity Week, the Captains of Energy Dinner brings together C-level leaders from energy, industry, government, science and NGOs for one focused evening of conversation and connection.
The energy transition is entering a decisive phase. Europe wants to move forward, but flagship projects in hydrogen, offshore wind and electrification are slowing down. Permits, regulation, geopolitics and grid congestion are stacking up, while other regions are moving fast. The pressure is real and so is the need for clear choices.
But Europe has done this before. From Airbus to the foundations of the European Union: progress came from ambition, shared direction and the courage to act together. That same mindset is needed again.
At the Captains of Energy Dinner, we move away from what doesn’t work and focus on what does. Not in long speeches, but around the table with leaders from the Netherlands, Germany and beyond. The central theme is Resilient Power for a Competitive Europe: how do we build an energy system that is reliable, resilient and ready for geopolitical pressure, climate risks, supply challenges and digital threats while keeping Europe competitive?
