Peter Palensky

Peter Palensky is a full professor and head of the Electrical Sustainable Energy department at TU Delft, specializing in intelligent electric power grids. He also chairs the Intelligent Electrical Power Grids (IEPG) section and the Delft Energy Initiative, and serves as scientific director of the PowerWeb Institute . His research focuses on complex energy systems and smart grids, including modeling, co-simulation, and optimization of cyber-physical energy systems . Prior to joining TU Delft, he held positions at the Austrian Institute of Technology, the University of Pretoria, and Lawrence Berkeley National Laboratory . Peter is active in international committees such as IEEE and serves as editor-in-chief of the IEEE Industrial Electronics Magazine .
