Laetitia Ouillet

Alumni of Paris Dauphine University where she was trained as an economist, Laetitia Ouillet worked all of her life for the energy industry. She started in France where she researched the possibilities of further integrating the European renewable electricity market and moved to the Netherlands in 2001. She held different roles within energy utility Nuon (now know as Vattenfall) after which she headed the corporate strategy department of Eneco between 2013-2016. After 5 years at the University of Eindhoven as the director of the “strategic area energy” where she took part in the negotiations of the Climate agreement, she started as an independent consultant focussing on an array of aspects of the energy transition. She works part-time in the heat transition and has been the director of the Sustainable Industry Lab since 2025. In her free time she writes in the Dutch media-outlet specialised in energy Energeia en co-hosts a podcast called Voetnoten.
