Kosti Rautiainen

Kosti Rautiainen currently works at Caruna as an Executive Vice President, Customers. He is responsible, among other things, for the long-term development of electricity networks to meet the needs of more than one million Finns. He has worked in the energy sector for over 20 years and also has significant international experience. Before joining Caruna, he held various roles in leading energy and circular economy companies such as Ekokem, Fortum, and Vattenfall. Throughout his career, he has mainly worked with combined heat and power (CHP) and district heating distribution, solar power project development, waste-to-energy and recycling, as well as electricity distribution systems in Northern Europe and India. Kosti holds a Master of Science degree in Energy Technology from Lappeenranta University of Technology.
