Kavish Kowlesar

Kavish Kowlesar is a board member of Klimaat en Energie Koepel (KEK), a Dutch platform that brings together experts from government, industry and academia to strengthen dialogue on climate and energy policy. Through KEK, he contributes to discussions on Europe’s energy transition, focusing on system integration, cross-border infrastructure and the policy frameworks needed to accelerate decarbonization.

Alongside this role, he works as an energy system strategist at the Ministry of Climate and Green Growth in the Netherlands, where he is involved in long-term energy system planning and the development of strategies for a resilient and climate-neutral European energy system.

With experience spanning energy policy, system transformation and international cooperation, Kowlesar brings a strategic perspective on how Europe can build a more integrated and secure electricity system.
