Christoph Podewils

Christoph Podewils is the Secretary General of the European Solar Manufacturing Council (ESMC). In this role, he promotes EU policies and industry initiatives aimed at establishing robust and resilient  solar supply chains. He holds degrees in geography and law, is the author of the energy policy book Deutschland unter Strom, and formerly led  public affairs for Meyer Burger. He has deep expertise at the intersection of renewables, digitalisation, and cybersecurity.
