Burak Yitgin

Burak Yitgin is a professional specializing in energy finance, electricity markets, and renewable energy investments. He currently serves as Director of Energy Investments at Danista Capital Partners, where he plays an active role in project finance transactions, ECA-backed credit structures, cross-border investment frameworks, mergers and acquisitions (M&A), and large-scale energy and infrastructure projects. His work covers core components of investment decision-making processes, including financial modelling, debt structuring, bankability assessments, price projections, and investment committee documentation.

Prior to joining Danista Capital Partners, Burak Yitgin worked at APLUS Energy as Business Development Manager and Senior Consultant. In that role, he led technical and economic feasibility studies, market analyses, and investment assessments based on electricity price projections for energy producers, investment funds, development finance institutions, and international investors. Earlier in his career, he spent more than eight years at EPİAŞ (Energy Exchange Istanbul) in strategy development, where he contributed to the institutional development of Türkiye’s electricity and natural gas markets, spot market design, regulatory framework enhancement, and international market integration.
