ZERO – Transfer Opening Visit
How can cities accelerate the energy transition without overloading the grid — and while keeping citizens at the center?
During Arnhem Electricity Week, the ZERO project opens its doors to a select group of European partner cities for an exclusive Transfer Opening Visit. In the neighbourhood of Elderveld, Arnhem is developing a new approach to energy — combining technology, data and local energy systems with social innovation and active citizen involvement.
Day 3
The final day connects the local experience of ZERO to the broader European energy transition. The day starts with a consortium breakfast — an informal moment to reflect, exchange insights and strengthen connections between partners.
Participants then join the European New Power Summit, part of Arnhem Electricity Week, where cities, innovators and policymakers come together. This provides a wider perspective on current developments, challenges and opportunities in the European energy system — and positions ZERO within this international context.
