ZERO – Transfer Opening Visit

20th of MayElectricity CampusAll Day

How can cities accelerate the energy transition without overloading the grid — and while keeping citizens at the center? During Arnhem Electricity Week, the ZERO project opens its doors to a select group of European partner cities for an exclusive Transfer Opening Visit. In the neighbourhood of Elderveld, Arnhem is developing a new approach to energy — combining technology, data and local energy systems with social innovation and active citizen involvement.

Day 2
Building on the insights from day one, the second day focuses on deepening and applying the ZERO approach. Participants reflect on key learnings and gain insight into how the project has developed over time — including its challenges, choices and lessons learned.

In the afternoon, the programme becomes hands-on. Through interactive workshops, participants work alongside experts and partners to translate the ZERO methodology to their own city context. Together, they define first concrete steps towards implementation and explore what it takes to move from ambition to action.
