Breakout Sessions Dirkzwager – European New Power Summit 2026
A closed event with three legal breakout sessions on the Energy Act, Smart Energy Hubs and grid congestion, and battery storage with practical insights for everyone working on the energy transition.
As a partner of Arnhem Electricity Week, Dirkzwager is hosting three breakout sessions during the European New Power Summit 2026, focusing on the legal dimensions of the energy transition.
The first session examines the new Energy Act: what changes in practice for collaboration, flexibility and local initiatives, and what new market roles and contract structures are emerging? The second session explores Smart Energy Hubs as a collaborative solution to grid congestion, with a deep dive into cable pooling 2.0, closed systems and group transport agreements. The third session centres on battery storage: its role in imbalance, congestion and flexibility markets, key considerations in environmental and property law, and fiscal developments around the EIA and energy tax.
Sessions are by invitation only and open to everyone working on the energy transition who wants to understand legal opportunities and manage risk.
